Review by Little G:
Mumma G’s thoughts:
I have to admit I didn’t really know exactly what the show was going to offer and my heart was racing a little as I realised how close to the stage we were sitting.
The thought of potentially being that close to a snake was making me feel slightly uncomfortable, to the point I warned my dear friend sitting next to me she may find me sitting in her lap!
The good news was I didn’t have to worry at all. The show was all about Steve Backshall sharing his experience of getting up close to some of the world’s deadliest creatures. The big screen behind him pictured his adventures as he spoke with passion, humor and enthusiasm, taking us all on the journey with him.
I loved watching the faces of our children as he brilliantly kept them entertained and involved for the full 1 hour 20 minutes. The show was a magic amount of time, not too short that you were left disappointment and not too long that the kids started to ask the dreaded “is it done yet”. He timed it perfectly.
After the show he generously came out and meet with his young fans, taking time to sign autographs and have a photo.
If you have an animal or adventure enthusiasts in your home, it’s a show we would definitely recommend.
